Strong passwords are important and can help keep business and personal information safe from internal/external threats.The key to a strong password is length and complexity. Avoid using personal information like your name, birthday, social security number, driver’s license number, etc. Create a password that utilized a variety of characters: include numbers and punctuation.

Items to avoid:

Avoid using the same password for every PC in your office or the same letter password with slight deviation i.e. Tech1, Tech2, Tech3.

Avoid sequences or repeating characters i.e. 123456, 444444, abcdefg and so on.
