Good news for those of us subscribing to Office 365 with Microsoft. We are now being offered the gift of unlimited storage on Microsoft OneDrive.
What is Microsoft OneDrive?
OneDrive, or previously known as SkyDrive, Windows Live SkyDrive, and Windows Live Folders, is a file-hosting service that allows users to upload and sync files to a cloud storage, to be accessible from a web browser or other local device.
How do I use OneDrive?
OneDrive is free online storage that comes with a Microsoft account. You can add files already stored on your PC to OneDrive by either copying them over, or moving them directly from your PC. When saving new files, you can even choose to save them to OneDrive. View more steps on how to save and move files with OneDrive, as well as a full tutorial on how to use OneDrive, here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/getting-started-onedrive-tutorial
Files saved on OneDrive can be kept private, or shared publicly with your friends and family.
Microsoft’s Gift to their Consumers
Microsoft has recently announced that all Office 365 subscribers, whether single consumers or businesses, will now get unlimited OneDrive storage at no additional cost to their Office 365 subscriptions. This unlimited storage is now and readily available to Office 365 Home, Personal, and University subscribers, and will soon be available to Office 365 Business customers in the next coming months.
