The latest QuickBooks update automatically inserts a link at the bottom of all emails and invoices sent to customers or vendors that gives the recipient the option to pay via the QuickBooks online service. While it’s a convenient option for your customers, it may charge you an additional fee to process their payments.
Here is how to turn off the Online Invoice payment message:
1. Go to Edit>Preferences>Payments
2. Click on company preferences
3. Uncheck “Show payments link on emailed Invoices and Show payment link on printed Invoices”
